What to Write?

I want to blog more regularly, but I am often at a loss of what to write about. If you read my blog, please tell me anything you would be interested in reading!

We began this blog for others to be able to keep up with our life and adventures while we were living thousands of miles away as newly married missionaries in Romania. Now our life is still full of adventures and craziness, but it is also quite normal.

I am a stay at home wife and mother, whose days are filled with caring for my baby and our home. There is never a dull moment as I try to cook supper and keep the house somewhat clean in between feeding, rocking, changing diapers, and playing with Mae. I also try to fit in finishing my Bachelor’s degree somewhere in the day.

Sam’s days are filled with his work as a corporate data analyst and various studies as he is a full time student on his way to getting his Master’s degree, as well as a full time preacher.

When we have spare time together we enjoy walking to the coffee shop half a mile away from our house, reading books, cooking, or just enjoying our baby.

We are not exceptional or doing anything exceptionally exciting 😉

I don’t have boatloads of spare time, but I really enjoy writing. If my writing can ever be of help, encouragement, or just entertainment to someone else it is even better!

So I’d like to ask for your help.

What do you like about other blogs you read? What do you like about our blog?

What would you like to read on our blog?

Thank you!

  1. I have enjoyed reading your Mum’s blog about life and family. It is easy to think that we have nothing to share as we live the “normal” life that some may even say is boring. However this is an encouragement to many, to see that we press on through the cleaning, the baby years and the day to day living. Kept writing Julie as you never know who is reading and encouraged by your words.

  2. I have enjoyed each post. I really think your take on life is great. I think you are gracious to share your heart like you do. It’s one thing to share your thoughts a decade later but to share while in the very midst of it is special. It’s just fun to hear how you all are doing!
